AtBizz Site Update - New Features
Today we rolled out a new version of our site. As always this means new features (and perhaps bugs).
Implemented features overview:
- Public Group Functionality
- Private Group Functionality - has usability issues
- Product Requests
- Nice URL and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for user profile
- Ability to buy free products even with 0€ in your account
- Improved upload functionality

- Improved visibility for sign up in our "login panel"
Public Group Functionality
Users can now create groups. All kind of groups can be created. Discussions takes place within the groups. Public groups are visible to everybody.
Private Group Functionality - has usability issues
Private groups works but is not too userfriendly for now.
Product Requests
You want our AtBizz users to create a product for you. Make a product request!
Nice URL and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for user profile
Links to the user profile now has some SEO optimizations and are now easier to write and remember. I.e. http://www.atbizz.com/users/Sune+Pedersen instead of http://www.atbizz.com/general/info_54.aspx
Ability to buy free products even with 0€ in your account
Free products can now be bought even though you have never added any funds to your account.
Improved Upload Functionality
We replaced our old upload control with an better alternative. Some users were reporting problems with the old upload control. The new control uses Macromedia Flash but there is also an alternative for the users that do not want to install flash.
User Of The Month
Everybody can vote for the user of the month. A user that contributed to the community in a special way can be rewarded by this title. Every user can place his vote on the user he decides. The winner will be invited to a virtual interview and will be featured as user of the month on the site.
Improved visibility for sign up in our "login panel"
Some users reported it was difficult to find our sign up link when not beeing on the home page. So we added it next to the "Sign In" link in our "login panel".
